Cabaret Night, the farewell concert for all Jefferson choirs, is Tuesday, June 15, 2010. It is at the Jefferson Commons from 6:00 - 8:30. This is a stagger start concert with those in small groups or those performing solos expected to be there longer than those who opted to perform only in the required large group portion of the show. This required section usually runs from about 7:15 to 8:30, the length of a regular concert. As soon as the details are all ironed out, all students will take home a final order of the event so you know exactly when they will be performing.

We could still use some donations of bottled water, cookies (for the guests), peppermint penny candy and individual fruit snacks. We want to provide snack kits to performers so they stay hydrated and so they don't have to get out of their seats unless they are going on stage.

See you on the 15th!

Katie

Jefferson Music Handbook 2009-2010 Word Document
Attached is the music handbook that explains the classroom operating procedures and grading policy. Please complete and return the last page by October 2rd. Scroll of Honor and other Veterans Day information is due by October 16th if a student chooses to participate. I could sure use your help in a few support roles this year. I have delineated them on the signature page. I thank you in advance as it truly takes a village to raise a choir.

Take Note

Have you finished your band or choir classes at Thomas Jefferson Middle School? Or, have you outgrown your current music shirt and will need to get a new one? Is your old music shirt taking up much needed space in your closet? If so, please donate it to the Thomas Jefferson Middle School Music Shirt Closet. You can drop it off at the Thomas Jefferson Middle School office or send it to Mrs. Vogt or Mrs. Hebner.

***The black music shirt with the Thomas Jefferson Music Logo is optional for choir students this year. To order the shirt, please click on the link below.***
