Band Notes

The Skyview High School Band has a reputation for excellence that demonstrates the hard work and dedication of staff, students and families at every rehearsal and performance.  I am very excited to be part of that tradition.

Classroom Expectations and Tardy Policy
Skyview Band Grading Policy

Concert Attire

The Wind Ensemble people and Jazz Band members need to wear the following:

Gentlemen,.... tuxedo (black) with white tux shirt and black bow tie. Shoes should be formal with black socks.

Ladies,..... black formal dress full length. Black formal shoes (please no sandal types). No colors other than black please (like white or grey, etc.).

The Concert Band students need to wear black and white, as formal as possible.

Gentlemen should be wearing black slacks and a white shirt with a long tie (color of your choice) and polished black shoes (absolutely no tennis shoes).  The idea here is to not have the younger men being required to purchase a tuxedo when they are still growing each year.

Girls should wear black dress or skirt with white tops or simply all black. Shoes should be formal and not sandals or tennis shoes.
