Vision Statement

The Thomas Jefferson Middle School counseling team commits themselves to working collaboratively with administration, faculty, staff, and parents to help every student navigate through middle school successfully. We understand that middle school is a time of change for both students and parents. We are dedicated to providing support for the growth of the whole student, which includes academically, emotionally, physically, and socially.

College Bound Scholarship

 

The College Bound Scholarship offers the promise of tuition and books to qualifying 7th and 8th graders in Washington.  Students who meet the family income requirements and sign a pledge by June 30 of their 8th grade year are eligible. As part of the scholarship eligibility requirements, students must graduate from high school with a minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA, demonstrate good citizenship, and seek admission to a two- or four-year college or university.

  • Contact your student’s school counseling department for more information and an application
  • Plan to attend the TJMS College Bound Information Night on January 28, 2010 from 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm
