Reading/Writing Standards

CarTOONy PROject

Over the next two weeks we will analyze and explore catoons/comics (static, not moving). This unit will involve four parts (1) analyze and explore comics to understand Irony, Pun, Parody, and Farce. (2) create a multitude of drafts of original comics. (3) create two final draft original comics. (4) complete the final test which involves choosing three random words out of containers and creating an original comic that involves all three words. There will be about three days to complete this test and it will occur during finals week at TJMS, the last week of school (two days of school). More to come on that.
