We're in the Final Trimester!
It's May and we've got a lot of things to do in order to wrap up the school year. We have just closed the door on our MSP and DIBELS benchmark testing. Our kids worked really hard! We're gearing up for some great activities to close the year such as the Annual Carnival on June 4th, Field trips for many grade levels, the end of year barbecue, and more. Check with your child's teacher to see how you can help make the end of year a success!
Thank you to all the families that work so hard to get their children here to school each day and on time. We have jam packed days full of educational learning starting right at 8:30. It is imperative to your child's success that they are here and on time ready to learn.
As the weather gets nicer please remember to send your child with a light jacket. With our unpredictable weather kids may be outside in sunshine one minute and rain the next. Also, please check the lost and found for missing items. It's so unfortunate to see so many coats sent away each month because they haven't been claimed.
All grades are working hard to continue reading skills, math skills, and social skills. Ask your child what they're working on today! All grades are working on finishing up our learning units for the year. We're celebrating the end of our testing season. Our students worked with great diligence on all of our testing. Way to go!
