Boys and Girls Club
The Boys and Girls Club of Southwest Washington provides affordable, supervised after-school activities to students ages six (must be in first grade) through 18 years. Boys and Girls clubs have a special focus for children and teens from challenging and disadvantaged circumstances. Membership fees are low. Boys and Girls Club does not turn kids away because of an inability to pay.

Two locations serve Vancouver Public Schools: The Clinton & Gloria John Boys & Girls Club and The Jim Parsley Community Center. The clubs are open to all students. Bus transportation is provided to both locations for students who attend Sarah J. Anderson, Eisenhower, King, Minnehaha, and Truman elementary schools. Students at Hazel Dell Elementary School walk to The Clinton & Gloria John Boys & Girls Club located on the school grounds. Students at Roosevelt Elementary School walk to the JPCC location.
