Our AP* Institute site is located in southwest Washington, approximately 15 miles from Portland International Airport (PDX). Vancouver, Washington, USA, is near mountain, beach, and river recreational activities. Tourist information will be available at the Institute.
AP* Fellows Scholarships are awarded to AP* teachers at schools that
serve a majority of underrepresented students of color or
low-income students. Each recipient will be offered $1,000 to
attend a College Board-endorsed AP* Summer Institute. Visit AP

February 15, 2010.

Vancouver Public Schools will be offering graduate level sessions for teachers interested in increasing their skills and strategies for analytical reading, writing, and thinking. Sessions are divided between AP* and Pre-AP*sessions as listed below.
Tuitions and Fees AP* and Pre-AP* Sessions:
$675 ($725 after June 30, 2010). Additional $25 lab fee for AP* Environmental Science. Fees include registration, teacher materials, breakfast, lunch, and optional evening excursion to Portland’s Pearl District and Powell’s City of Books.
Credit and Clock Hours You may choose to earn either 2 graduate-level professional development credits from San Diego State University (online registration for credit available on this website soon) or 30 clock hours (clock hour paperwork will be available at the Institute).
