Our AP* Summer Institute site is located in southwest Washington, approximately 15 miles from Portland International Airport (PDX). Vancouver, Washington, USA, is near mountain, beach, and river recreational activities. Tourist information will be available at the Institute.

Vancouver Public Schools will be offering graduate level sessions for teachers interested in increasing their skills and strategies for analytical reading, writing, and thinking. Sessions are divided between AP* and Pre-AP* sessions as listed below.
Tuitions and Fees AP* and Pre-AP* Sessions:
$700 (after June 30, 2012, a $50 late charge applies). Additional $25 lab fee for AP* Biology and AP* Physics. Fees include registration, teacher materials, breakfast, lunch, and optional evening excursion to Portland's Pearl District and Powell's City of Books.
Credit and Clock Hours You may choose to earn either two graduate-level professional development credits from San Diego State University (coming soon: credit registration information) or 30 clock hours. Clock hour paperwork will be available at the Institute.
AP* Fellows Scholarships are awarded to AP* teachers at schools which serve a majority of under-represented students of color or low-income students. Each recipient will be offered $1,000 to attend a College Board*-endorsed AP* Summer Institute. Visit AP Fellows Program for more information. The application deadline is February 15, 2012.
