This is my 13th year at River. My wife Sara and I, and our two boys, moved here from Northern California in 2006. I grew up in San Diego and earned my B.A. in History from California State University at Chico. I taught English in Japan for four years, served in the Peace Corps in China, and taught in Taiwan. I earned my B.A. in Education at Cardinal Stritch University in Wisconsin, and my M.A. in East Asian History at California State University at Sonoma.
