Course Introduction
Students explore a variety of art processes through varied approaches, tools, materials and mediums. The goal is that students will begin to establish a personal connection to what they are making and how they’re doing it. We’ll examine the “WHY” that takes place within creativity, building awareness between input and outcome. Teaching students to seek their own answers to the way a medium might look and how a "project" should appear when finished is another goal. Discussions and projects will promote originality, expressiveness, elaboration and envisioning skills. |
